How the work pays.
Initial visits, progress inspections, and additional services have separate compensation. Makeover invoices the client and pays the consultant.
Initial site visit
Document the property’s condition, review bids, and identify required repairs and the client’s requested improvements.
The table shows pay to the consultant based on repair cost, with eligible mileage handled separately.

The pay sheet specifies the same FHA case number and/or property description, up to a four-unit dwelling.
Mileage and home-inspection referrals
Mileage
Mileage reimbursement follows the IRS standard business mileage rate in effect on the date of travel.
July–December 2026: $0.76 per mile.
Mileage reimbursement applies when travel exceeds a 30-mile round trip from your place of business. Confirm the reimbursable distance before travel.
A separate home inspection
If a consulting client also needs a home inspection, use your existing home-inspection fee sheet. Makeover collects $50 for the referral.
The source allows charging for both the home inspection and renovation consultation at the same property. It does not specify how the referral fee is collected or when consultant payments are made; confirm those details with the team.
